A conical-beam dual-band double aperture-coupled stacked elliptical patch antenna design for 5G

چکیده

This study investigates a dual-band, aperture coupled and stacked elliptical patch antenna with conical radiation. To obtain such characteristics, the TM21 mode of radiating patches is excited by utilizing two special apertures shorting planes. The proposed operates both at 2.45 GHz 3.5 GHz. design aims to be used indoor applications 5G operating in free planned bands, respectively. Therefore, low-profile element that has monopole-like radiation pattern good candidate for two-dimensional arraying. steps evolution are presented detail. simulation experimental results reveal many similarities regarding scattering parameters, patterns, gain. parameter, S11 less than -10 dB bands. Novelties configuration choice as well stacking structure miniaturization techniques patches.
